certified English to Spanish
With English AND Spanish as native languages, the source is understood correctly and conveyed accurately and naturally.
My name is Idalia Martin and I am a full-time freelance translator consistently receiving requests for translations, with most work coming from repeat clients.
I am certified by the American Translators Association (ATA). According to the ATA website (atanet.org), less than 5% of translators working with English are certified. Of those that qualify to take the English-to-Spanish certification exam, less than 12% pass it. I'm proud to say that I passed the exam on the first try!

You have been tireless in ensuring that the meaning of the words, and not just the words themselves, are communicated with your translation. We have found you to be a superb translator with an excellent command of both languages and a deep knowledge of Spanish with regards to grammar and syntax. You have been tireless in explaining these rules to us, and have conducted exhaustive research of the subject matter and content you’ve translated. I’ve been continually impressed with your dedication, professionalism, high standards, accessibility, and work product. You are able to translate large amounts of new material quickly, without compromising the quality of your work.
