certified English to Spanish
I learned English and Spanish when I learned to talk, and started translating and interpreting at a very young age for family and friends, and later on per requests or as needed for school and jobs. Speaking of school, I studied Chemistry, Physics and Calculus for three years (full-time) at the Monterrey Tec (ITESM) with a 3.4 GPA. Then, while living in the U.S., I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management degree with Honors (4.0 GPA).
Living extensively in the US and in Mexico, I have used English and Spanish in all areas of life. Professionally, I used English and Spanish in roles in education, engineering, retail, and real estate for a combined thirty years, and have been a full-time linguist since 2010.
I am a member of the American Translators Association and the Austin Area Translators and Interpreters Association, where I continue my education and participate actively.
Excellent work by linguist with great attention to detail and adherence to client preferences. Linguist also included a couple of very pertinent comments justifying term choices that improved what was in the memory; and she also flagged source ambiguities or possible source errors.
